MISSION
TO MAKE DISCIPLES OF JESUS WHO GATHER, GROW, & GO IN THE GOSPEL.
At SBC, we believe we have been commissioned by Jesus to make disciples. Seeking to obey this calling on our lives, we pursue discipleship through a simple three-step process:
1) GATHER UNDER THE GOSPEL
We believe the first step of discipleship is committing yourself to a local church of fellow disciples and gathering with them to worship the God who has rescued us in Christ. As we gather, we encourage one another to keep believing the gospel, and our own faith is strengthened to follow Jesus into a new week.
2) GROW IN THE GOSPEL
As crucial as our weekly worship gathering is, we need more for the gospel to take root in our lives. We need strong, loving relationships with other disciples, where we can both give and receive the encouragement we all need to follow Jesus through the ups and downs of life. We facilitate these relationships through Sunday School, Gospel Fellowship Groups, Wednesday Night Bible Studies, and Men's and Women's Ministry.
3) GO WITH THE GOSPEL
As we grow as disciples, Jesus calls us to join him in his disciple-making mission. The bible teaches that Jesus has uniquely gifted every single Christian to be effective in the work of ministry, ad it is our joy to help each member at SBC discover where they fit into his plans.

At SBC, this verse shapes how we relate to one another and to our community. Jesus meets us with grace, compassion, kindness, and love. We seek to live out these Christ-like attributes in everything that we do. Thus, we place a high priority on hospitality—opening up our homes and whole lives to welcome any and everyone who wants to follow Christ!
