"Jesus said to Simon Peter, 'Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?' He said to him, 'Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.' He said to him, 'Feed my lambs (John 21:15).'" For many years, this simple command from the Savior has served as a mission statement for the SBC children's ministry. What could be more important than feeding the smallest lambs of Christ with the truth of the gospel, and caring for them with the love of Jesus? Our prayer is that the children Jesus entrusts to us will take their first steps of discipleship during their time in our children's ministry.
We provide classes for children from nursery through the 5th grade during Sunday School, on Sunday nights, and Wednesday nights.
During the Sunday morning worship gathering, we provide childcare for children 0–24 months, and a toddler worship class for 2 year olds.

Every year we look forward to Vacation Bible School! VBS 2016 will be June 12–15, and our theme is Cave Quest: Following Jesus, the Light of the World.

We take seriously the responsibility God has entrusted to us to teach, love, and care for the children who attend SBC. Therefore, we have established a child protection policy by which all of our teachers and workers are screened. You can read this policy here.
